MINCHIN, Richard Frederick, born in Vancouver August 26, 1917, passed away on October 20, 2004 in Edmonton, Alberta. He is survived by his loving family: daughter Valerie Isaacson and son-in-law Jim of San Jose, son Rick Minchin and daughter-in-law Terri of Stockton and daughter Marlene Jerrard and son-in-law Bob of Edmonton. Richard is also survived by his seven grandchildren, Jason (Kara) Minchin, Brina (John) Wright, Keith (Heidi) Peterson, Karen (Dave) Bellous, Nicole (Dan) Smart, Erica (Justen) Caleca, and Shauna (Matt) Lee, as well as soon to be seven great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his loving wife, Dorothy, in 1995. Richard will be lovingly remembered for his kind heart and loving ways. Richard worked for the Pacific Press newspaper for many years. Donations to the CNIB would be greatly appreciated. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
