- Hi I am Gayle Maureen Howard (nee Minchin). My father was Howard Minchin and my grandfather was David Dingwall Minchin. I just happened on your website and it is so interesting. There are alot more details to see in what you have written. I live in a suberb of Vancouver BC and I grew up in Sylvan Lake Alberta. I was around many of the relatives back in the 50's and 60's and I remember cousin Lorne Minchin my Dad's cousin. I have 2 children and my husband is Rev. Dennis Howard who still preaches at the Langley Presbyterian church. I was born in 1948 and my hubby in 1950. Our 2 girls are the Rev. Rebecca Carol Simpson born in 1974 and Mrs.Janet Maureen Comer born in 1979. Rebecca has 3 children named Kate, Samuel, Sarah and her husbands name is Matthew Robert Simpson (Irish). Matt is a school teacher and they live in Mission BC. Our daughter Janet is married to Christopher Frank Comer (Welsh) and they have 2 girls. Lucy Beth is 6 years old and Emma Maureen is 2 years old. I am Visual Artist and not quite retired. I still do plenty of Art Projects. If you would like anymore info about my 2 sisters you are sure welcome so there are a lot more stories.
